Ghost Town in Jerome Arizona

Thank God, the Ghost Town is behind us. I guess Tommy enjoyed it!!!!

On the way out, we saw this different colored rock or hills. Maybe they were deposits of copper and sulfur from the mining around the area.

I guess that donkey was scared also, he wanted to go with us.

There were even some donkeys and goats but no people.

There were all kinds of chickens but no people.

No way would I go to the dentist here. Painless, does that mean your a goner????

This looks like a preserve cabin built on a truck. How about that for an RV????

I wonder what happened to the guy in this car?? Could he have been swallowed up? Maybe I've been watching too much Mystery TV. It just looks spooky.

The sawmill is still operational for special applications of lumber.

I guess this is part of the sawmill and some of the equipment they used. This track machine has a boom that moves the logs around.

This is some of the stuff that he found.

I'm staying behind. Tommy can go check the place out first. I don't see anybody around. He went in and we had to actually pay to get spooked. I stayed out so he went on in to see what it was all about.

We're real close now.

I guess somebody lives here but I'm not sure. I wouldn't be caught dead living out here.

UUUUhhhh, I'm getting scared.

Old trucks and something that looks like a sawmill in the back ground. Most of the trucks you see on this posting were built in the 1930's and 1940's. Some of them still run.

We heard some kind of noises going down the road. It sounded somewhat like a sawmill except I don't know what a sawmill sounds like and since its a ghost town, the sawmill shouldn't be working.

We're getting closer. There are all kinds of old abandoned vehicles.

There's all kinds of signs all over, I wish we could turn around and go back.

Okay!!! I guess we're headed in the right direction. I'm a little scared about the ghost town. I hope I don't get spooked??????????
