We got accustomed to these kind of signs. And yes, they are in the lower 48 states also. They're everywhere!!! They're everywhere!!!
This mountain is Mt. Baker.
When we crossed customs in Suma, Washington, we went over to a Wal-Mart so we could get on our internet and make reservations to a Thousand Trails park in Mt. Vernon Washington. We hadn't had internet while we were in Canada so we had to cross the border to make our reservations. We called in, got our confirmation and started our GPS. We got out of the Walmart parking and went up the road and after a while we decided that we were going around in circles and had come back to where we started 3 times. At one of those times I was looking forward toward Walmart and saw the beautiful white mountain in the distance and I sure was wanting to see it before we got out of the area. We finally got on the right road and started to our destination. We got to the park, got situated and found out about that mountain. The next day we headed there.
I am a mother of 3 children and grandmother of 4. I retired from a school district working as a bilingual secretary. At the time that I retired 5 years ago, my co-workers asked me what I was going to do after I retired. I told them that I thought my husband and I would travel some. Never in my wildest dream did I dream of traveling the way we are traveling. After my husband and I retired he was watching The Travel Channel and they were building million dollar motorhomes and guess how we're traveling? We are traveling all around the country in a 2007 Monico Camelot Motorhome. Right now we are in Alaska and have been here for a few weeks. We still have a home but he doesn't care to go home.
