The sunset on our way from Coburg to RV Guaranty at Junction City.
A garage with a car through it.
And some more barns for those that haven't had enough.
Just a building and a harbor at Portland.
Another view of the bridge.
A bridge at Porland Oregon.
I'm not sure what this is but I think it might be a feed silo.
More barns on our way to Junction City.
This is John and Romola's coach. It is a 2009 Monico Camelot. It is greenish gray. It's a real pretty color and they've had it about 2 months.
This is a couple that were parked next to us at TT Medina Lake in San Antonio last year. We talked to them and they seemed like a real nice couple but at the time we didn't visit very much cause they left before we did. Anyway they joined our FMCA TT Chapter so now they're part of our group. They went to the rally at Conroe but then they went west and we caught up with them in Washington when we came in from Alaska. They were at Vancouver, BC at the time and we emailed each other and got together in Chehalis and again in Junction City, Oregon. They bought them a new Monico coach like ours, almost, (2 years newer) at Junction City. While we were in Chehalis and talking to John, he told us about RV Guaranty at Junction City so we tried to make a reservation to get our electric slide step, that burned while we were in Alaska, fixed but they were booked and we would've had to wait 2 weeks and we didn't want to do that. Tommy ordered the motor and he was going to fix it himself and of course he did. While we were on our way over there he had noticed that our dash air condition wasn't cooling so when we got to Junction City he asked the people at the shop if they could look at it and fix it. We stayed there two days so we met John and Romola Laninga and took a tour of the Monico Mfg plant.
I like to take pictures of old barns, so here it goes. These barns were on a 10 mile stretch of road going toward our Chehalis WA Thousand Trails Park. Enjoy!!!
I am a mother of 3 children and grandmother of 4. I retired from a school district working as a bilingual secretary. At the time that I retired 5 years ago, my co-workers asked me what I was going to do after I retired. I told them that I thought my husband and I would travel some. Never in my wildest dream did I dream of traveling the way we are traveling. After my husband and I retired he was watching The Travel Channel and they were building million dollar motorhomes and guess how we're traveling? We are traveling all around the country in a 2007 Monico Camelot Motorhome. Right now we are in Alaska and have been here for a few weeks. We still have a home but he doesn't care to go home.
