On our way to Mt. St. Helens.

Another old barn.

Across from our space they were doing the slip and slide for the kids on Saturday.

This is our space. I don't have any idea what Tommy is doing. After we got situated at Chehalis we needed to go to Walmart so while we were there Tommy was needing a special kind of cable connectors to hook up a new slimline satellite dish that he had got at Mt. Vernon. Walmart and Home Depot didn't have them so we decided that we would go to Lowe's at Olympia, which was around 35 miles away and this was around 6:30 or 7:00 in the evening. After we were lost in Olympia for about 30 minutes, we finally found Lowe's but it was getting late coming home. Since we didn't know we were going to Olympia when we left home, we didn't take our camera so we couldn't take pictures of the State Capital and other things. On our way back our GPS had told us that we could go down a different exit than the one we knew, so I decided to go down that exit thinking that it was closer. Well it was closer to nowhere, we had the second experience of our lives in this area in just one week. Sometimes we get lost even in the day time and it was already getting dark so we took that exit and went on and on. We were getting nowhere and I started seeing dark hills or mountains. Since we weren't from the area and we didn't have any kind of map, we were really lost. We just kind going and going like the eveready rabbit. The mountains or hills kept getting bigger and bigger, then it seemed like we kept climbing and climbing down the gravel road and I saw what looked liked cliffs. Tommy was thinking that maybe we'd come down the other side of the park so we kept on going. Finally it seemed like we had gone on forever he decided that he was going to drive since I was doing the driving. So he was backing up and I started hollering and crying cause I didn't want him to back up into a cliff. The road was real narrow and I didn't realize that there was a little area where he could back up. So now we're on our way back to where we started but when we got to a cross road we didn't know whether to turn left or right. If we knew where we were, we would know what way to turn but we were totally lost and we were just going to take a chance. We did take the right turn and after asking some people at a convience store, they told us we were heading in the right direction, so 150 miles later and 12:00 in the morning, we got home. What a joy ride!!!! We won't be going anywhere at night anymore, especially where we don't know the area and there are mountains. All the time we were at Chehalis I was wanting to go down that same way during the day just to see where we had been on our adventure but Tommy wouldn't go and I sure didn't want to go by myself. There were some mountains or hills on both sides of the highway.

Waiting to get registered into our park.

First thing I saw as we were getting into our park in Chehalis.

An old car in a rest area.

I tried to get a picture of Olympia State Capital but I couldn't so I took a picture of this.

More of Tacoma.
