This is the name of the park that we stayed at in Soldotna. Soldotna is on the western Kenai Peninsula. The city stretches over a mile southwest along the Sterling Hwy and northwest along the Kenai Spur Hwy. The Kenai River is right behind this park. I went down a little trail from the park to the river to take a picture of an eagle at 10:00 pm one day.
Here's the picture of the eagle that I took. Its on the tallest tree and all you can see is a black dot and a smaller white dot. Notice that these pictures are going down instead of up. I tried to post them that way and its not going to work at this time. Thats why I have only 5 pictures because its not working. So keep on reading them from the bottom up.
This is where we're parked in this park. I think we had the best space cause we were parked at the end of the row and were in the corner facing two main hwys so we got to see it all.
